Meet our Athletic Director
Mr. Ciomei is a graduate of Deer Isle-Stonington High School from the Class of 2008. He completed his undergraduate degree in Sports Management at Husson University. His family has deep ties to the community and sentimental connection to the school. Mr. Ciomei and his family has played many sports throughout the school system and he is passionate to keep the sports programs striving and thriving at the the Elementary and High School level. He is dedicated to his role as well as improving our sports systems and programs.
Fun fact: Mr. Ciomei won multiple State Championships for our school in baseball and one in basketball. He also scored 1,000 career basketball points, retiring the number 10 for the high school in 2008.
