Mrs. Penfold has been teaching at DISHS since 2012. Her speciality areas are Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, College Pre-Calculus, and AP Statistics. 

Mrs. Mayo has been teaching at DISHS since 2020. Her speciality areas are Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Personal Finance, College Algebra, and College Accounting.

This is an entry level course for students who need more preparation for Algebra 1. Not all students will need Pre-Algebra.
Pre-Requisites: None

This is an entry level, 9th grade, math course. Students will be introduced to expressions, equations,  and much more.
Pre-Requisites: None OR Pre-Algebra

This class is more in depth topics of Algebra such as quadratic equations, polynomials, and much more.
Pre-Requisites: Algebra 1

This class focuses on shapes areas and volumes, lines and angles, trigonometry concepts, and much more.
Pre-Requisites: Algebra 1

This is a senior math class in which students learn about loans, budgeting, investments, etc.
Pre-Requisites: Senior in High School

Advanced Placement courses have tests provided through the school. Students who pass have the ability to receive college credits through specific college and universities.
Pre-Requisites: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry

This is a dual enrollment class offered through University of Maine  Augusta.
Pre-Requisites: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry

This is a dual enrollment class offered through Thomas College.
