My name is Julie Ciomei, and I am the Director of Student Services, and School Counselor, at Deer Isle-Stonington High School. Having grown up in Deer Isle and experienced the exceptional education provided by this school system, I am proud to give back to our community.
I am available to help students maximize their high school experience while being mindful of keeping students’ options open for life after high school. I will work with students regarding course selection, graduation requirements, interpretation of test results, career and post-secondary options, among much more. At DISHS, we believe in working together to help students succeed. This team includes the student, their parent or guardian, teachers, and the counselor. I will be working with students throughout their entire high school experience for consistent support.
