Students in the Marine Studies Pathway and Eastern Maine Skippers Program travelled to Maine Maritime Academy for cold water survival and navigation training. In addition to earning a US Coast Guard Fishing Vessel Drill Conductor certification, students were exposed to a wide variety of maritime careers as well as marine-related post-secondary options. The day's program was made possible by MMA's Discovery Voyage program and admissions staffer Hugh Porter.    |
