Now that draft #1 of the budget completed, I'd like to share my cover memo for the DISHS portion of the 2012-13 budget.  The cover memo offers an explanation of new and/or "big ticket" items and attempts to clarify budget priorities aligned with the School Improvement Action Plan, CSD Strategic Plan, and NEASC Reaccreditation recommendations.

Because I wrote the cover memo based on my initial budget requests to Mr. Webster, I have had to eliminate a couple of items in order to present a draft #1 budget that has a 0% increase in expenditures.  Those items are struck through.
