Community Meeting on Proposed School Budget, Monday 5/23 5:30pm @ DISHS

The CSD 13 School Board and Island Education Revitalization Committee are co-hosting a community meeting to discuss the proposed 2016-2017 school budget on Monday, May 23rd at 5:30 pm in the high school cafeteria.  Superintendent Chris Elkington will provide an in depth review of the proposed budget. Elementary School Principal Carla Magoon , High School Principal Todd West, and Special Services Director O.J. Logue also will be present to discuss the staffing proposals and answer any questions. This meeting will provide the public with an opportunity to thoroughly review the proposed budget in advance of the June 1 Annual District Budget Meeting.
