2014-15 1st Semester Final Exams

Exams are only two and a half weeks away!  Here is our 1st Semester Exam Schedule; the dates are also in the school's google calendar.

We will once again be using the review-exam, review-exam format for finals.  Teachers will assign students to the review period.  For those students, the review is required.  For other students, the review is optional.  The Focused Review period will count as a student's daily attendance during exams.  Teachers will assign students for Focused Review by the end of the day on Thursday, 1/15.  Students should be sure to look at the Focused Review Roster on Friday, 1/16 to make sure that they know which review periods they need to attend.

If students do not have an exam scheduled, they do not need to attend school during that exam block, ie: if the student has a Period 1 study hall, the student does not need to attend school during the scheduled Period 1 exam or the Period 1 review period.  If a student is unable to take an exam during the regularly scheduled time due to an excused absence, the student must arrange with the teacher to make up the exam during a study hall later in the week or during make up exams on Friday, January 23rd.  All exams must be completed by 3:00pm on Friday, January 23rd unless approved by the principal.

The library will be available during exams on Wednesday and Thursday as a quiet study area for students who do not have an exam at that time.

Just a reminder that we do NOT have an open campus policy at this time.  Students may not leave at lunch if they have a Focused Review scheduled immediately after lunch.  If a student has no focused review scheduled, they may leave and come back for the exam, but students are not allowed to leave for lunch only.
