"I have been going through the Iselin papers, organizing them. These are the property of Mystic Seaport Collections. The papers are letters to/from Mr. C. Oliver Iselin by various people. There is one box that I have found and it has about 20 folders. Some of the folders have 20 to 30 papers, but others have up to 110. They weren't really in any type of order, so I had to organize them. Some of them were written in old handwriting, presently I am rewriting them in a clear font. I'm preserving them in plastic sleeves by putting a copy of the original and the clear font in also." Amanda Mangels, Ethnography
